This event is hosted by Balloon and features the work of twenty-five artists displayed among the art and design objects in the Balloon/Converso showroom located on the 17th floor of the Merchandise Mart during Art Chicago/NEXT.

...Opening reception: Thursday, April 28, from 8pm – 11pm.

Ride the central elevator bank from the 1st floor to the 17th, and proceed to suite 1709.

Sunday, May 1 11 am – 6pm
Monday, May 2 11am – 4pm

The design showroom provides a framework not only for the display of objects but for a way of living. It creates a temporary functioning fiction whose nature solicits critical inquiry. The space adopts a subtle yet distinct formal language that each artist in the show either disrupts or engages from varying vantages.
